The thing that really gives me energy in my work is when I see that people – want – to grow that they come to stand stronger, dare to be themselves more, and because of that become more able to connect – with professionals, clients, colleagues, and most of all with themselves. If there is space for depth, connection, growth, fun, and results, then I feel, Yes, there’s something beautiful happening here.

I have a great love for technology. I think it’s amazing that we work with innovative companies and professionals that make the world slightly more clever, sustainable, or humane. You can count on us to help companies and professionals grow in a connecting, professional, and qualitative way.

In my role as Managing Director at McFly & Brown, I lead the Management Team. I am also actively involved in sales, finance and HR policies. Together we build an organization in which people flourish. My focus is on organizational development: developing teams, and the people within them in a way that matches who they are.

My personal essence:

“The space to connect in depth and enjoy sustainable growth together.” I consider this phrase my compass. It is the basis of how I live life, make choices, and build relationships – both privately and in my work.

Over the past few years, I have devoted a lot of time and effort to my development. That path was sometimes a little scary, often enlightening, and always valuable. I've had the opportunity to learn from inspiring people, have had experiences that have truly touched me, and gained insights that help me get closer to myself and others.

A few experiences that have really made a difference for me:

  • Essence session with Margreet van Stein – which helped me give words to what is essential to me

  • Ice bath and breathing workshop with Wim Hof – a lesson in surrender and power

  • Deep dive retreat with Rupda – deep personal growth, stillness and connection

  • Leading Organizations with Brout – about conscious leadership in complex times

  • And not to forget the coaching of Dennis Buist, who continues to mirror and challenge me

In addition, books are a constant source of inspiration for me. Here are my top 5 books that have really shaped me:

  • Solve for Happy – Mo Gawdat

  • Master Your Mindset – Michael Pilarczyk

  • The Fountain– Els van Stein

  • The Five Dysfunctions of a Team – Patrick Lencioni

  • How to Know Everything – Elke Wiss
