Senior Mechanical Engineer – High Tech Machinery / Semiconductor

Introduction

Do you want to work on high-end machinery used globally in the semiconductor industry? In this role, you combine mechanical design with a key position in an important software transition. You will work on customer-specific systems while helping the organization move from Creo Direct to Creo Parametric. This gives you direct impact on both the technology and the way engineering operates.

Your Responsibilities

You combine hands-on design work with a project-based engineering role;

• Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and modules;
• Create and detail 2D and 3D drawings based on existing libraries;
• Configure machines according to customer-specific requirements;
• Drive the transition from Creo Direct to Creo Parametric (structure, roadmap, testing);
• Collaborate closely with production, R&D, and international teams (including Asia);
• Review designs using the four-eyes principle and ensure quality standards.

This role exists to elevate engineering standards, both technically and in terms of processes. You will contribute to optimizing designs and standardizing workflows. In addition, you play a key role in transitioning to a future-proof CAD environment. Your work directly impacts product quality, efficiency, and international collaboration.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
• Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in machine building or high-tech equipment;
• Strong CAD knowledge, preferably Creo Direct and/or Creo Parametric;
• Solid understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturability;
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Nice to have: experience with CAD transitions or system implementations.

• Salary between €4,500 and €6,500 gross per month, up to €85,000 per year;
• 27 vacation days and 13 additional ADV (reduction of working hours) days;
