Activities

As Mechanical Lead Engineer your work consists of a translation of the architecture into a design that meets the following requirements: 3D design, volume control, engineering changes and communication. You make sure the design can be manufactured, will be serviceable and meets the availabilty requirement. You will collect specifications to generate a design and create a design within a multidisiplinary module. If needed you can lead junior engineers in making high quality designs. In conclusion, you are able to work together with the architects, lead engineers, team leads and (junior) designers, to enable reliable, stable, safe, contamination-free, cost effective and easy to manufacture/service systems. You will report directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the design of high-tech mechatronic system equipment.
  • Creation of the design, volume control, engineering changes ect.
  • Predict functionality in MATLAB, FEA 
  • Interface with customers and suppliers 
  • Prepare technical reports

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or simular 
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the field of mechatronics systems development and multi-disciplinary environment
  • CAD expierince in; NX, Solid Works, Solid Edge or Pro Engineer 
  • Experience in analyzing applicability, accuracy and adherence to design specifications 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English

Terms of condition

  • Salary range from €4000 – €6000, a month based on experience 
  • 8% holiday allowance
  • 30 holidays 
  • Travel allowance
