Job Description

Activities
As a Systems Engineer you are responsible for drafting requirements, developing concepts, document system functionality and plan, supervise and performing tests to verify performance. You will derive lower level requirements and designs for each modules / elements and test campaigns for testing the systems and subsystems.

You will also advise users of appropriate actions to correct malfunctions and may recommend changes to user procedures. As a System Engineer you will be in close contact with the custome. You answer questions from customers and advise them about the design and requirements. in this role you will be traveling approximately 10% of the time

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the specifications of high-tech machines definition based on customer requirements.
  • Recommend design changes or substitution of materials based on customer requirements
  • Drafting requirements for High Tech Mechatronics systems
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Manage the Mechatronics supply chain for sub-modules

Qualification and Experience

  • A Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Having a second degree in the field of Physics, Methematics or relevant discipline is a good asset
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Mechatronics System Engineer
  • Experience with analyzing the applicability and accuracy of design specifications
  • Experience in generating models and simulations to analyze expected mechatronic performance
  • Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowladge of and experience in sub-nanometer motion stage design for closed loop servo control and actuator design
  • Experience with working with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience in CAD, Thermal analysis, FEA and other Tools is a plus
  • Analytical and hands-on in lab or cleanroom environment
