Baan omschrijving

Introduction

Are you an experienced Software Designer who enjoys bridging machine control and software engineering? Do you want to work on next-generation semiconductor equipment where PLC technology, C++, and C# come together?

Join an internationally operating high-tech engineering company where you'll contribute to the development of complex semiconductor equipment for leading technology companies. You'll work on both greenfield developments and large legacy systems, helping to shape the software that controls highly advanced production machines used around the world.

As a Software Designer, you'll take ownership of software modules and subsystems while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance machine software.

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Designer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing the software that controls complex high-tech machines.

  • Design and develop machine control software using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and/or Siemens PLC.

  • Develop higher-level software components using C++ and/or C#.

  • Translate customer and system requirements into robust software designs and technical solutions.

  • Design and implement software for complex machine control systems.

  • Act as the technical bridge between machine control, software engineering, and system architecture.

  • Contribute to both greenfield developments and existing software platforms.

  • Support integration, testing, and commissioning of advanced semiconductor equipment.

  • Collaborate with software, electronics, mechanics, and systems engineers in multidisciplinary Scrum teams.

  • Take ownership of software modules and continuously improve software quality, maintainability, and performance.

  • Challenge technical requirements and actively contribute ideas to improve designs and engineering solutions.
