QHSSE Coordinator – Maritime / Offshore Energy

Introduction

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening QHSSE performance across both fleet and office operations. You’ll work within an international maritime organization supporting offshore wind and oil & gas projects, contributing directly to the global energy transition. With a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, you’ll have the opportunity to shape processes and make real impact.

Your responsibilities
You are responsible for enhancing and safeguarding QHSSE standards across the organization.

  • Support crew and office staff in complying with QHSSE regulations and internal standards
  • Maintain, review, and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Promote safety awareness through training, coaching, and guidance
  • Provide QHSSE expertise to tenders and operational projects
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring proper follow-up
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Maintain QHSSE registers and contribute to reporting and management reviews
  • Act as Deputy Company Security Officer (CSO) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA)
  • Support emergency preparedness through drills and exercises

Your profile

  • Several years of QHSSE experience, preferably within maritime or offshore environments
  • Knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
  • Understanding of relevant national and international HSE legislation
  • Experience with risk management, auditing, and integrated management systems
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

  • Internal or Lead Auditor certification

Offer

  • Salary between €4,000 and €6,000 gross per month
