Mechanical Test Technician – Aerospace / High-Tech

Introduction

In this role, you contribute to testing and validating technologies within the aerospace sector. You will work in one of Europe’s largest test centres, featuring advanced facilities and cleanroom environments. Here, you ensure complex mechanical tests run smoothly and installations perform at their best.

Your responsibilities
You are responsible for preparing, executing, and optimizing mechanical testing activities in a high-tech environment.

  • Build and prepare mechanical test setups, including instrumentation
  • Perform tests such as vibration, shock, acoustic, and mass property testing
  • Maintain and optimize test facilities and equipment
  • Identify deviations and perform root cause analyses
  • Create test and maintenance reports in English
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders and internal teams on complex projects

Your Profile

  • Completed technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering)
  • Experience with mechanical testing and measurement systems
  • Knowledge of vibration and acoustic test facilities is a plus
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and schematics
  • Ability to work accurately, independently, and according to procedures
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Offer

  • Salary between €3.500 and €4.500 gross per month
  • Up to €60.000 gross per year including holiday allowance
  • 30 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance

  • Permanent contract after a successful first year
