Introduction
Do you want to combine technology, creativity and commercial thinking in a fast-growing machine building environment? As a Project Engineer Auto Loader, you take technical ownership of projects from the sales phase through to customer delivery. You work closely with sales, engineering, R&D and project teams to develop innovative system solutions. In this role, your technical insight directly contributes to the growth of an advanced auto loading business.

Your responsibilities
You are responsible for translating customer needs and business opportunities into technically strong and feasible solutions.

• Create business cases and development programs for new system solutions
• Work with R&D to develop concepts into new machines and applications
• Prepare technical specifications, cost calculations and project documentation
• Organize practical tests to validate concepts and demonstrate solutions to customers
• Develop engineering work breakdown structures, including planning and cost forecasts
• Review drawings, calculations and mechanical specifications throughout project phases
• Identify technical risks and take action to manage them effectively
• Support final checks after in-house testing and during installation at customer sites

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Experience in project engineering, machine building or industrial automation
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to develop creative technical solutions
• Good planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including outside regular working hours

Nice to have:

• Experience with 3D applications, SolidWorks or AutoCAD
