About the Role

As a Lead Engineer Electrical Engineering, you are responsible for setting the technical direction within the engineering team. You guide the design process, ensure technical consistency, and oversee the development and realization of highly complex electrical control systems. You coach and support engineers, make well-founded technical decisions, and ensure that solutions meet project requirements as well as the organization’s strategic technical framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the engineering team; allocate tasks, monitor progress, and safeguard quality.
• Contribute hands-on to the design and realization of multi-complex control systems.
• Act as the technical point of contact for engineers and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Manager and support strategic technical decision-making.
• Communicate with production, procurement, and external partners.
• Identify and implement improvements in engineering processes and documentation.

What You Bring

• A completed degree in Electrical Engineering (MBO+/HBO or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an electrical engineer.
• Experience working with large-scale control systems in industrial settings, production halls, or similarly complex technical environments.
• Leadership skills and experience guiding or coordinating engineers.
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
• The ability to bring structure, clarity, and technical direction to the team.
