You translate customer needs into robust mechanical concepts and guide multidisciplinary development from idea to realization. Your responsibilities:
In this role, you combine technical depth with architectural ownership in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Translate customer needs and system requirements into mechanical architecture, specifications and conceptual designs;
• Define subsystem set-ups, budgets, interfaces and technical design choices within complex development projects;
• Safeguard quality by defining test, integration and verification requirements across the full development cycle;
• Act as technical lead for mechanical topics within multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers and stakeholders;
• Drive innovation by introducing new technologies, design principles and practical solutions for advanced equipment.

Your profile:
• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field;
• Extensive experience in mechanical design and architecture within high-tech systems or precision equipment;
• Strong background in mechatronic system design and multidisciplinary product development;
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think on system level as well as on detailed design level;
• Strong communication skills and the seniority to lead technical discussions with teams and stakeholders;
• Pré: experience with Design for Excellence, precision mechanics and complex stakeholder environments.
